PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric field forming apparatus, configured to prevent discharge from occurring between a section other than a body section and a surface of a member where an electric field is formed.SOLUTION: An electric field forming apparatus 44 includes: a body section 440 having a shaft 442, a cylindrical electric field forming unit 444 which is disposed on an outer peripheral surface of the shaft 442 to form an electric field with a surface of a member 42 where an electric field is formed, and a cylindrical projection 446 formed to protrude in an axial direction from an axial end of the shaft 442 in the electric field forming unit 444; a power supply unit 450 which is disposed at one axial end of the shaft 442, and which is partially arranged in a space 448A on the inner peripheral side of the projection 446, to supply power in contact with the shaft 442; and a suppression member 452 which is arranged on the side facing a surface of the electric field formation member 42 at least, with respect to the power supply unit 450, to prevent discharge from the power supply unit 450 to the electric field formation member 42. |
