Provided is a strain wave gearing device, which is able to make the most of the structural advantages of the flat form as is while also achieving ideal meshing without a high degree of dimensional precision or special adjustment mechanisms. A strain wave gearing device (1) provided with a fixed internal gear (3), a rotating internal gear (11) disposed side-by-side with the fixed internal gear, a flexible planetary gear (19) disposed on the inside of same for meshing locally with the internal gears by being bent in the radial direction, and a wave generator (27) disposed inside the flexible planetary gear for continuously deforming and bending the flexible planetary gear by rotation. In the device, backlash during meshing is eliminated by making the bases (5, 13) of the internal gears (3, 11) elastic. |
