This magnet generator (1) is provided with a stator having a plurality of salient poles (14) formed from a magnetic path portion (15) around which a coil is wound and a protrusion (16) that protrudes from the leading end of the magnetic path portion (15) and with a rotor (2) having a plurality of permanent magnets (6) attached thereto so as to oppose the salient poles (14), the placement angles (&thetas;1) of adjacent magnetic path portions (15) are made to be roughly equal, and the placement angles of leading end portions (17) formed from the leading end part of a magnetic path portion (15) and a protrusion (16) are set such that leading end portions (17) of the same phase have placement angles that match the pole arc angles of the permanent magnets (6). |
