Disclosed is a channel estimating and equalizing method for ultrasonic communication, comprising: in response to reception of an ultrasonic signal, estimating a channel response; equalizing the ultrasonic signal based on the estimated channel response by using a linear equalizer; and adjusting a coefficient of the linear equalizer according to a change of the channel response. Further disclosed is a corresponding channel estimating and equalizing apparatus for ultrasonic communication.
