The laminated body has a structure wherein a first layer made of a first material including metal and particles that have a lower heat conductivity than the metal and are dispersed in the metal, and a second layer made of a second material that has a higher Seebeck coefficient and lower heat conductivity than the first material are alternately laminated. The lamination planes between the plurality of first layers and plurality of second layers are inclined relative to the direction along which the first electrode and the second electrode face each other. A potential difference is generated between the first electrode and the second electrode due to a temperature difference between the first principal surface and the second principal surface.</p>
