<p>An optical device equipped with: an optical modulation element having an electro-optical substrate which exhibits an electro-optical effect, a plurality of optical waveguides having a light wave supplied thereto, and provided on the electro-optical substrate, and a plurality of signal electrodes to which a modulation signal for modulating the light wave passing through the interior of the optical waveguides is supplied; a terminator which is electrically connected to the plurality of signal electrodes and terminates the modulation signal; and a terminal substrate having the terminator provided on a first surface thereof.
