PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for appropriately calculating movement status information of a user.SOLUTION: A travel direction speed calculation device 1 calculates an attitude of an acceleration sensor 10 mounted on a use's body and detecting an acceleration to a user by using detection result of the acceleration sensor 10 at the time when change of the detection result displayed in a local coordinate system associated with the acceleration sensor 10 satisfies a predetermined singular condition. Then, using the calculated attitude, the detection result of the acceleration sensor 10 at the time which is different from the time of calculating the attitude and when the change satisfies the singular condition is converted into a detection result in a movable body coordinate system associated with the user. Then, using the converted detection result, a speed in a travel direction of the user is calculated. |
