<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum reel support device and a drum reel installation method using the support device in which a work load of an operator performing construction of an overhead distribution line can be reduced.SOLUTION: A support device 1, which rotatably supports a drum reel, comprises a basic leg 30 which is constituted by a shaft 60 penetrating the center hole of the drum reel, a right-and-left pair of longitudinal rods in parallel with each other, a lateral rod 32 connecting the upper part neighborhoods of the longitudinal rods, and a lateral rod connecting the lower part neighborhoods of the longitudinal rods, an auxiliary leg 40 which is constituted by a right-and-left pair of longitudinal rods in parallel with each other and in which the upper part neighborhood in the longitudinal direction of each longitudinal rod is connected as rotatable to the middle part of the basic leg 30, and engagement jigs 50 which are installed at the middle part neighborhood of each longitudinal rod of the basic leg 30 respectively and engage with the shaft 60. Each of the engagement jigs 50 includes an almost J-shaped frame material with an opening part, a fastening jig covering the opening of the frame material and a handle which closes and opens the opening part of the frame material to the fastening jig corresponding to operation of a user.</p> |
