<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical polyester film which prevents appearance of optical interference colors when placed in cross-Nicol arrangement as a polarizing plate, reduces deterioration of liquid crystals by ultraviolet rays and maintains high transparency when built into a liquid crystal display, and is suitable for protection of a polarizing plate, for example.SOLUTION: An optical polyester film is a laminated polyester film comprising at least three layers, contains at least one or more types of fine particles having birefringence, has an in-plane retardation of no greater than 1000 nm and a haze of no greater than 4.5%, contains an ultraviolet absorbing agent in an inner layer, and has a light beam transmittance of no more than 20.0% at the wavelength of 380 nm and no less than 80.0% at the wavelength of 550 nm.</p> |
