A pad for cleaning a hard target surface. The pad may be removably attached to a device for cleaning debris from a target surface. The pad has a predetermined 90 degree peel force to prevent undue removal force from the device and prevent the pad from coming loose during the cleaning task.

A cleaning pad having a predetermined peel force from a flat sole plate, said flat sole plate having two parallel patches of alternating hooks, each patch containing 8 rows of 64 alternating hooks, each said hooks being spaced less than 1.5 mm from all adjacent hooks, each said patch having a foot print of 73 mm×12 mm and being spaced 10 mm from said other patch, said cleaning pad comprising:
a nonwoven topsheet and optionally a core or backsheet attached to said topsheet to form a laminate, said cleaning pad having a 24 mm Peel Face force of 100-400 grams.
