A shift register unit and a driving method therefor, and a grid driving apparatus and display apparatus are provided. A signal input unit, a latch unit, a pull-down unit, and a signal output unit are disposed in the shift register unit. The signal input unit is configured to output a first level signal or a second level signal to a first end of the latch unit under control of an input signal and a reset signal; the latch unit is configured to latch the signal input by the signal input unit, and output the latched signal to the pull-down unit; the pull-down unit is configured to output the first level signal or a pull-down signal to the signal output unit under control of the latched signal; and the signal output unit is configured to receive the signal sent by the pull-down unit, perform reverse processing on the signal, use the processed signal as an output signal, and output an inversion signal of the output signal. In this case, a circuit structure of the shift register can be simplified, and a narrow frame of the display panel can be implemented. |
