<p>In order to allow a stator structure to be shortened in the axial-length direction, without performance degradation, the present invention is a stator structure provided with: a stator core that includes a yoke, teeth, and slots; and stator coils that are arranged, in plurality, in the circumferential direction relative to the stator core, include two slotting parts and coil-end parts, and are configured by rectangular wire formed to have a rectangular cross section. The coil-end parts of each stator coil are sloped towards the radial-direction yoke side of the slotting parts that extend in the axial direction. The join between one edge of one stator coil and another edge of another stator coil is positioned on the side opposite to the radial-direction yoke side of the sloping coil-end parts. When the sloped coil end-parts are not sloped, the join is positioned such that the axial direction distance from an axial direction edge surface of the stator core to the position is shorter than the axial direction distance from the axial direction edge surface of the stator core to the apex of the coil end part.</p> |
