PURPOSE: A car accident picture transmission system is provided to transmit data suitable for the urgent environment of an accident by separately processing the static image of the accident and video right after the accident or in a normal situation. CONSTITUTION: One or more cameras are installed in a vehicle. A video transmission terminal (100) is mounted inside the vehicle and comprises a video recording unit (110) and a vehicle control unit (120). The video recording unit is connected to a camera to functions as a black box. The vehicle control unit is wirelessly communicates with a control center server (200) and transmits data. An insurance company server communicates with the control center server through wire or wireless. The first encoder of the video recording unit encodes in order to store video data in a normal situation to an internal memory. The second encoder of the video recording unit encodes video data for transmitting to the control center server. The video recording unit and the second encoder encode a static image extracted from the camera in an accident. The communications module of the vehicle control unit immediately transmits the static image and accident information to the control center server using a network. The control center server transmits the accident information and the static image to the insurance company server (300). |
