PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate diol to be used as a raw material of a polyurethane having a good balance of chemical resistance and low-temperature properties, and a polyurethane using the same.SOLUTION: A polycarbonate diol comprises a structural unit derived from a compound represented by the formula (A) and a structural unit derived from a compound represented by the formula (B). The hydroxyl value of the polycarbonate diol is 20 mg-KOH/g or more and 450 mg-KOH/g or less. Formula (A): HO-R-OH; and Formula (B): HO-R-OH. (In the formula (A), Rrepresents a substituted or unsubstituted alkylene group having a carbon number of 3 to 5; and in the formula (B), Rrepresents a substituted or unsubstituted alkylene group having a carbon number of 8 to 20.)
