<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power management device capable of estimating unknown electric equipment even when the unknown electric equipment which is not connected to a measuring instrument is connected to an electric power line.SOLUTION: A power management device is configured to manage (n) pieces of electric equipment provided in a home, and includes: a storage part which stores an electric power pattern database in which symbol information related to waveform patterns of electric power consumptions of the respective pieces of electric equipment are registered corresponding to the respective pieces of electric equipment; an acquisition part which acquires the total electric power consumption in the home and electric power consumptions from (m) measuring instruments provided corresponding to (m) (m<n) pieces of electric equipment; a calculation part which calculates an electric power consumption of electric equipment provided with no measuring instrument based upon the total electric power consumption in the home and the electric power consumptions from the (m) measuring instruments that the acquisition part acquires; and an estimation part which estimates electric equipment calculated based upon the calculation result calculated by the calculation part and the electric power pattern database stored in the storage part.</p> |
