PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio signal processing device, an acoustic device, a method of controlling the audio signal processing device, and a program which implement stable power saving without auditorily influencing sound quality.SOLUTION: The audio signal processing device includes: a reduction interval decision section 22 for deciding a reduction interval for reduction in the amplitude of an audio signal having a start point P02 that is a time point of decrease in an amplitude value to a value equal to or lower than a first predetermined value relative to a maximum point P01 of an amplitude envelope of the audio signal and an end point P03 that is a time point of decrease to a value equal to or lower than a second predetermined value lower than the start point P02; an amplitude control section 25 for performing amplitude reduction control on the audio signal on the basis of a predetermined amount of amplitude reduction for the reduction interval decided by the reduction interval decision section 22; and an audio signal output section 26 for outputting the audio signal processed by the amplitude control section 25.
