<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device excellent in display quality.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises: an array substrate including a switching element arranged near a position in which source wiring S and gate wiring G intersect with each other; a counter substrate arranged opposite to pixel electrodes PE aligned in a column direction and having a color filter including a red coloring layer, a green coloring layer, and a blue coloring layer; and a spacer SS arranged between the array substrate and the counter substrate. The pixel electrodes PE adjacent to the column direction are electrically connected with the source wiring S different from each other via a switching element. The pixel electrodes PE electrically connected with the source wiring S on one side in a row direction via the switching element are arranged so as to cover an upper layer of the source wiring S on the other side in the row direction. The number of the spacers SS arranged opposite to a boundary between the red coloring layer and the green coloring layer is smaller than the number of the spacers SS arranged opposite to a boundary between the red coloring layer and the blue coloring layer.</p> |
