PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle assist device which reduces the number of components related to a motor actuator and saves space.SOLUTION: A motor actuator 10 comprises: an electric motor 2; and a control device 1 provided with a control circuit which performs drive control of a motor drive shaft of the electric motor 2 by receiving a command signal S1 and outputting a drive control signal S2. The motor drive shaft is connected to a pump P in an electric pump mechanism 3 which circulates oil with respect to a decelerator 20 through a one-way supply flow channel 3a and a one-way intake flow channel 3b and lock means R in a parking lock mechanism 4 which locks or unlocks a parking gear 21 respectively through drive force transmission means 3c and 4a so that motor drive force is transmitted respectively to the pump P and the lock means R. A drive force switching mechanism 6 is installed between the drive shaft of the electric motor 2 and the drive force transmission means 4a in the parking lock mechanism 4 so as to connect or disconnect transmission of the motor drive force.
