[Problem] To provide a rigid decorative member having excellent scratch resistance. [Solution] This rigid decorative member comprises a base and a rigid decorative coating film superposed on the base, and is characterized in that the rigid decorative coating film comprises a gray-tone layer that is constituted of a compound formed by the reaction of an alloy of Ti and one or more metals M2 selected from Nb, Ta, and V with one or more non-metallic elements comprising carbon. It is preferable that the amount of the carbon contained in the gray-tone layer should be 30-70 at% relative to the total amount of the Ti, metals M2, and non-metallic elements, which is taken as 100 at%. |
