This optical waveguide is provided with a core layer in which a core is formed, a first cladding layer laminated on one surface of the core layer, a second cladding layer laminated on the other surface of the core layer, and a hollow section which passes through the second cladding layer and the core layer and reaches to the first cladding layer, and is characterized in that a part of the inner wall surface of the hollow section is configured as an inclined surface which is inclined to and intersects with the plane containing the interface between the core layer and the first cladding layer, and in that plane, the minimum radius of curvature of the area of connection between the inclined surface and the other parts of the inner wall surface continuous therewith is 1-500μm. |
