[Class 103 (i)] [Also in Group XXVI] A speed-limiting device for talking machines comprises rectangular bent levers 19 with arms carrying weights 30 moved centrifugally outwards against leaf springs 32 thus forcing the other arms against a ring carrying felt and pads 35 which are thus forced against a stationary plate 42. The levers carry noses 23 which act as stops for the movement of the weights, thus protecting the springs against undue strain.
