<p>An apparatus for storing one or more items, the apparatus comprising: a first part adapted to be mounted to a surface or a vehicle, the first part being fixed relative to the surface or vehicle when mounted to the surface or vehicle, a second part mounted to the first part, the second part adapted to store or hold one or more items, a linearly reciprocating part mounted for reciprocal movement relative to the first part, wherein the second part is mounted to the linearly reciprocating part by a linkage mechanism that comprises at least one linkage arm having a first end and a second end, the first end being slidable relative to one of the linearly reciprocating part and the second part, the second end being slidable relative to the other of the linearly reciprocating part and the second part, wherein the second part is movable from a first position at which the second part is at substantially a same level as the first part to a second part at which the second part is at a different level to the first part, the ends of the linkage arm sliding relative to the linearly reciprocating part and the second part during movement of the second part between the first position and the second position. t t '.4 t '4~ 'C-</p> |
