摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for mitigating a stress applied to a scintillator layer of a radiation detection device.SOLUTION: A radiation detection device includes: a sensor panel having a photoelectric conversion unit for converting light to electric charge; a scintillator layer located on the photoelectric conversion unit of the sensor panel to convert radiation to light which the photoelectric conversion unit can convert; a reflecting layer located on the scintillator layer to reflect a part of light generated in the scintillator layer toward the sensor panel; and a protection layer covering the scintillator layer from above the reflecting layer. The scintillator layer is fixed to the sensor panel, and the reflecting later is fixed to the protection layer, and a part of the protection layer is bonded to the sensor panel with an adhesive so that the scintillator layer and the reflecting layer are sealed up by the protection layer and the second panel, and an upper surface of the scintillator layer includes a part not fixed to the reflecting layer.
