PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen separation body in which a gas leakage can be reduced.SOLUTION: A hydrogen separation body (1) comprises: a ceramic porous support (5) through which a gas can pass; a ceramic dense layer (11) having an airtightness which is formed on a part of a surface of the porous support (5); a ceramic porous layer (13) which covers an area, which is not covered by the dense layer (11), of the surface of the porous layer (5) and a part of the dense layer (11) and through which the gas can pass; and a hydrogen separation layer (15) which has a hydrogen separation metal which can selectively transmit only hydrogen from gaseous matter containing hydrogen, covers the porous layer (13) and of which an end is jointed to the dense layer (11). Further, the hydrogen separation layer (15) is a mixed layer containing a ceramic and the hydrogen separation metal, the interface of the end contacting the dense layer (11) is configured from a ceramic porous base (19) and the hydrogen separation metal filled in a pore (21) of the porous base (19). |
