摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unidirectional type brake device which can be utilized as a bidirectional type brake device by changing the minimum number of components.SOLUTION: A brake device 3 includes: an outer ring 10; a brake cam 20; an output side rotary member 30; an input side rotary member (output ring 40); and a rotation force transmission member (friction ring 82) having an engaging part (ring part 82A) engaged with the output side rotary member so as to rotate integrally with the output side rotary member and a transmission part (rotation force transmission arm 82C) arranged in such a manner that it can come into contact with the input side rotary member in one rotation direction between the brake cam and itself. Thereby, when a rotational torque is applied to the output side rotary member 30, the transmission part rotates the brake cam 20 via the input side rotary member, as for one rotation direction, and the brake cam does not rotate as a second contact part 36A pushes a cam surface 23 and a brake surface 21 is pressed against an inner peripheral surface 11 of the outer ring 10, as for the other rotation direction.
