摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a difference from a discharged amount of one droplet to a discharged amount of another droplet, caused by different characteristics of piezoelectric elements.SOLUTION: Each of M pieces of head units U[1] to U[M] of a print head 20 includes a drive signal generating section 22 and a plurality of piezoelectric elements 40. A common control signal COM 0 is supplied to the drive signal generating section 22 in each of M pieces of the head units U[1] to U[M] from a control signal supply section 140 in a control unit 10. The drive signal generating section 22 of each head unit U[m] generates a drive signal D corresponding to a characteristic (e.g., a relation of a deformation quantity to an applied voltage) of each piezoelectric element 40 at a subsequent stage from the control signal COM 0, and supplies the drive signal D to each piezoelectric element 40.
