The present invention can prevent the most recent message associated with a message posted in the past from being overlooked by a user. A display control device is provided with: an input unit which accepts input data inputted from a user; a display unit which is provided with a plurality of display areas for displaying the input data, and displays the input data from the user in a display area assigned to the user; and a display control unit which displays input data that is an object to be associated in the display area in a display form indicating that the input data is associated with the input data displayed in the display unit and/or the display area.
