Disclosed are a control method and device for a touch display panel and a display device, for implementing display and touch functions of the display panel and for increasing touch report rate. Provided in the present invention, the control method for implementing the display and touch functions of an embedded capacitive touch display panel comprises: the time that the embedded capacitive touch display panel uses to display each frame of image is divided into at least two control periods, each of the control periods comprising a display time period and a touch time period; in the display time period, either no signal is applied or a signal for display is applied to a touch drive electrode of the touch display panel; in the touch time period, touch drive signals are sequentially applied to the touch drive electrode, and voltage signals of the touch drive signals are coupled by a touch induction electrode and outputted by same.
