<p>A gear device is provided with: a lubricating oil channel (37) which is provided within a casing (11) for housing gears (13a-13d); an oil delivery means which delivers lubricating oil (16) contained within the casing (11) to the lubricating oil channel (37); and an accumulation section (39) which is provided in the lubricating oil channel (37) and in which foreign matter in the lubricating oil (16) flowing through the lubricating oil channel (37) accumulates. A structure for capturing foreign matter can be simplified because the foreign matter is captured by allowing the foreign matter to accumulate in the accumulation section (39), and consequently, the gear device has high economic efficiency. Also, the gear device can be extremely easily maintained because foreign matter accumulated in the accumulation section (39) can be easily removed by sucking, picking, or wiping.</p> |
