CORE-SHELL TYPE SILICA COMPOSITE PARTICLES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide core-shell type silica composite particles with average particle diameter of 30 nm or more that are obtained by forming composites between aliphatic polyamine having primary amino group and/or secondary amino group in the shell layer, and to provide a simple and efficient method for producing said particles.SOLUTION: The core-shell type silica composite particles may be provided by a simple production method in which a solution of copolymer (A) having aliphatic polyamine chain (a1) with primary amino group and/or secondary amino group and hydrophobic organic segment (a2) is mixed with an aqueous medium to obtain an association product formed of a core layer mainly composed of the copolymer (A) and a shell layer mainly composed of the aliphatic polyamine chain (a1), and a sol-gel reaction of the silica source is carried out using the same as template.
