摘要 [Problem] To provide a means for enabling a reaction for the formation of a film (SEI) on a surface of an anode active material to proceed more uniformly when an aqueous binder is used as a binder for an anode active material layer in a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery. [Solution] A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery created by enclosing a power generation element inside a packaging body, the power generation element having a cathode created by forming a cathode active material layer on a surface of a cathode collector, an anode created by forming an anode active material layer containing an aqueous binder on a surface of an anode collector, and a separator for holding an electrolyte. In this non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, the value of a ratio (V2/V1) of a volume (V2) of a residual space inside the packaging body to a volume (V1) of vacancy possessed by the power generation element is 0.4 to 0.5, and the value of a ratio (L/V2) of a volume (L) of the electrolyte injected into the packaging body to the volume (V2) of the residual space inside the packaging body is 0.6 to 0.8.
