PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current sensor which has improved stability in detection sensitivity to displacement of a detection element.SOLUTION: A current sensor 100 includes: a magnetic core 20 having a groove part 21 through which a plate-shaped conductor 10 in which a current to be measured flows is inserted; and a detection element 30 which is arranged nearer to an opening 26 of the groove part 21 than the conductor 10 in the groove part 21. The core 20 includes a U-shaped part 50, narrow parts 60 which are formed from end parts on the side of the opening 26 of the U-shaped part 50 toward the opening 26 and have a core width narrower than that in a spacing direction of the groove part 21 in the end parts on the side of the opening 26 of the U-shaped part 50, and wide parts 70 which are formed from positions of the narrowest core width of the narrow part 60 toward the opening 26 of the groove part 21 and have a core width wider than that in the spacing direction of the groove part 21 in the positions of the narrowest core width of the narrow parts 60. The detection element 30 is arranged on the deeper side of the opening 26 than positions in a depth direction of parts of the widest core width of the wide parts 70. |
