<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection apparatus for a battery pack, capable of being reduced in size and lightened in weight by employing a novel structure, a method for manufacturing the protection apparatus, and a battery pack having the protection apparatus.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a protection apparatus for a battery pack, a method for manufacturing the protection apparatus, and a battery pack having the protection apparatus. There is provided a protection apparatus for a battery pack, which includes: a conduction portion including a pad portion and a connection portion electrically coupled to the pad portion and a bare cell while being located at the outside of the pad portion; and an insulation portion covering at least a portion of the conduction portion. The pad portion and the connection portion are coplanar, and the protection apparatus is capable of being reduced in size and excellent in safety. There are also provided a method for manufacturing the protection apparatus, and a battery pack having the protection apparatus.</p> |
