The purpose of the present invention is to reduce a camber of a slab sizing press. The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling a camber and a method for the same, capable of reducing a camber by computing the amount of the camber through image processing and by differently zeroing the work side (WS) and the drive side (DS) of an anvil, thereby reducing quality defects such as telescoping, twisting, waving and leaving a roll mark, and capable of diminishing the variation of a load applied to the equipment, thereby maximizing the life of equipment and minimizing expenses caused by an accident in the equipment. |
