This storage system includes: a data storage unit that stores divided data which represents data obtained by division of data in a time series; an interval storage unit that stores information in which identifying data which identifies the divided data, and information relating to intervals indicating start times and end times of divided data, are associated; a search unit that acquires a first time, searches the interval storage unit for an interval that overlaps an interval between the first time and a second time following the first time by a predetermined duration of time, and acquires identifying data for the divided data that corresponds to the interval for which the search was performed; and a readout unit that acquires the divided data corresponding to the acquired identifying information from the data storage unit, and reads out the acquired data in chronological order.
