The present invention relates to a non-touch leak sensing system for a water purifier using a distance sensor, and more specifically, to a leak sensing system for a water purifier comprising the following parts: a purified water tank which stores purified water; a distance sensor which is installed in an upper part inside the purified water tank and measures the water level stored inside the tank to output measuring signals; a detecting sensor which detects the motion of an object close to the vicinity of the water purifier to output detection signals; a warning display unit which warns of and displays the state information on the water purifier according to the control signal; a wireless communication module which uses wireless communication to transfer the state information on the water purifier according to the control signal to a mobile phone of a user; and a control unit which measures the level of water stored in the purified water tank through the distance sensor by determining that the water purifier is not in use when the motion of the object is not detected through the detecting sensor, and which determines if the water purifier is leaking when measuring the difference between water supply and drainage out of a predetermined range to transfer the state information of the water purifier to the mobile phone of the user through a wireless communication module. Accordingly, the present invention is a very useful invention, since the system repeatedly measures the level of stored water by installing the distance sensor inside the purified water tank of the water purifier, and in the case that the level of water is out of predetermined range when the water purifier is not in use in such a way that a user is not detected through the detecting sensor, the system determines the state as a leak in order to warn about and inform the user via the mobile phone.
