The present invention relates to a method for producing biomass by cultivating microalgae in beer industrial waste water. The microalgae are cultivated after the anaerobic digestion of beer industrial waste water. The microalgae are cultivated with a photoautotrophic-mixotrophic method. The present invention performs waste water treatment and cultivates microalgae at the same time and includes a first step of cultivating microalgae with a photoautotrophic method and a second step of cultivating the microalgae with a mixotrophic method. Therefore, as anaerobic digestion is not needed, a pretreatment step is not needed, and the additional injection of expensive organic carbon is not needed. The self-deposition of the microalgae growing in the waste water is one of an advantage of the present invention, and ultimately, the remarkable reduction of costs for harvesting the microalgae is possible. |
