The present invention relates to a travelling device capable of climbing over stairs, such that the device can walk up stairs, and more specifically one constituted in such a way that: the bottom part of a body (11) has formed therein a projecting support part (12) and a recessed support part (13) corresponding to the steps of the stairs; first drive motors (20) are respectively mounted to left and right on one side and the other side of the body (11); rotational mounting parts (30) are respectively mounted, via first mounting holes (31) formed on one side thereof, on shafts of the first drive motors (20); second drive motors (21) are respectively mounted in second mounting holes (32) formed on the other side of the rotational mounting parts (30); first wheels (40) and second wheels (41) are respectively mounted on the shafts of each of the second drive motors (21); and the device climbs and descends while walking over the upper surface (50) of the stairs, with the first and second wheels (40, 41) and the projecting support part (12) and recessed support part (13) crossing each other.
