An apparatus and a method for registering memories related to changes in assets in a social network service (SNS) are disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for registering memories related to changes in assets in an SNS includes: a membership database which stores a plurality of membership site information storing the history of changes in assets induced by the purchase of products by a user; a picture database which stores a plurality of pictures; a reference unit which connects to a corresponding membership site using membership site information selected by the user among the membership site information, and which checks the history of changes in assets owned by the user; an SNS content generating unit which generates SNS content including memory information induced by the purchase of products by the user, which is related to the history of changes in assets owned by the user, using the history of changes in assets owned by the user and meta information of pictures related to the history of changes in assets owned by the user; and an SNS content registration unit which registers pictures related to the history of changes in assets owned by the user, and SNS content in an SNS.
