<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant applicator with a simple composition for applying a lubricant to O-rings.SOLUTION: An applicator 1 for applying a lubricant to an O-ring 15 mounted on a shank 11 includes: an outer cylinder 20 disposed in a container 2 filled with the lubricant with one end thereof in a longitudinal direction facing upward and the other end facing downward; an inner cylinder 30 which has a hole 33 for inserting the shank 11 and is provided movably in the longitudinal direction inside the outer cylinder 20; a spring Sp biasing a distal end 32a of the inner cylinder 30 in a direction protruding from the top 22a of the outer cylinder 20; and regulation means regulating the moving range of the inner cylinder 30 in the longitudinal direction. The distal end 32a of the inner cylinder 30 is held on the position protruding from a distal end 22a of the outer cylinder 20, and the distal ends 22a and 32a are positioned below and above the liquid surface level Lv of the lubricant OL, respectively. The inner diameter D2 of the insertion hole 33 open on an upper face 301 of the inner cylinder 30 is sized to be smaller than the outer diameter D6 of the O-ring 15.</p> |
