<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed reducer having long service life even when an elastic member is arranged between a through-hole and a through pin.SOLUTION: A speed reducer comprises: a ring gear having a gear tooth on an inner periphery; a first revolution gear 7 having a gear tooth 7a which engages with the gear tooth; a rotary shaft having a circular cam which makes the first revolution gear 7 revolve around a central axis of the ring gear; a through pin fixed at the first revolution gear 7; and a support part for outputting rotation of the first revolution gear 7 by supporting the through pin. The first revolution gear 7 has a first reception part 14 which is located between a first through-hole 7c and the through pin, which comes into contact with the first through-hole 7c and the through pin and which has elasticity. The material of the first revolution gear 7 is carbon steel, and the material of the first reception part 14 is spring steel and its shape is cylindrical. When a diameter of a tooth bottom circle 7e of the first revolution gear 7 is defined as Df and thickness in a radial direction of the first reception part 14 is defined as T, the following conditional expression is satisfied. 47 mm=<Df<=75 mm, 0.0172×Df-0.085 mm=<T<=0.015×Df+0.316 mm.</p> |
