An image capturing apparatus according to an aspect of the present invention is provided with: an image capturing unit (5); a display unit (225) which displays a captured image captured by the image capturing unit (5), and a guide (10) that assists capturing of a calibration image used for calibration of point image restoration processing and has a linear shape along a sagittal direction or a tangential direction in the captured image; and a parameter calculation unit (228) which calculates a parameter for the point image restoration processing on the basis of the calibration image captured by the image capturing unit (5) with the assistance of the guide (10).
