<p>The present invention provides a production method for cis-3-hexene-1-ol, said production method being characterized in that 3-hexyne-1-ol is subjected to a partial hydrogenation reaction in the presence of a palladium catalyst, in the absence of a solvent, and under conditions in which the hydrogen gauge pressure in a reaction vessel is in the range 10-1000 kPa. According to the present invention, highly pure cis-3-hexene-1-ol can be produced in an industrially advantageous manner by using a palladium catalyst to partially hydrogenate 3-hexyne-1-ol.</p> |
