DEVICE FOR PROVIDING STABLE-VALUE RESISTANCE IN EXERCISING INSTRUMENTS

The invention relates to a device meant to provide stable-value resistance during transfer of the end (8) of the device which is provided with an adequate mechanical arrangement composed of a cylinder connected to a cone or an eccentric or a variable-diameter pulley. The mechanical arrangement inter connects and balances the preset -variable during transfer- resistance value of one or several resilient means (e.g. springs) from one side (cylinder's side) with the changing torque created by one externally-applied stable force (the cone, eccentric or variable-diameter pulley side) upon suitable change of the geometrical features defining the torque such as rays, distances and angle. The device in question is practicable for exercising instruments as well as for whatever industrial embodiment requiring the supply of stable resistance values.
