摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe press-in method capable of maximally exhibiting the combination use effect of a press-in device and a center digging device, by reliably pressing in a steel pipe up to a target depth with low vibration and low noise.SOLUTION: For example, when pressing in a steel pipe sheet pile by combinationally using center digging in steel pipe sheet pile installation work, a process of pressing in the steel pipe sheet pile and a process of excavating by inserting the center digging device into a steel pipe sheet pile main pipe, are simultaneously advanced in parallel, and water to be pressurized by water head pressure is injected into the steel pipe sheet pile main pipe at a proper timing. After injecting the water into the main pipe up to the generation of a water head difference between the steel pipe outside and itself, press-in and the center digging of the steel pipe sheet pile are continued under the situation of the main pipe filled with the water, and the steel pipe sheet pile is occasionally moved up and down to in its process. Pressure (water head pressure) of the water injected into the steel pipe sheet pile main pipe, propagates along the inside and the outer periphery under the main pipe, and further propagates to an inner space part of a joint part. This propagation pressure influences sediment becoming the cause of clogging in the joint part, and acts in the direction for upwardly pushing out the sediment, and largely contributes to eliminating the clogging.
