METHOD OF PRODUCING FOAM-CONTAINING RESIN MOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a foam-containing resin molding which does not require a complicated production process, emits no gas affecting the environment and is dispersed with fine cells.SOLUTION: A method of producing a foam-containing resin molding comprises causing a sea-island type composite fiber composed of a water-absorbing ingredient A (island) and a non-water-absorbing ingredient B (sea) lower in melting point than the ingredient A to contain moisture, mixing the composite fiber with a thermoplastic resin and heating the resultant mixture to 100°C or higher to melt the resin while producing bubbles through evaporation of water.
