Real time image guidance system

A real time image guidance system (100) is provided having an imaging device (102) configured to capture a surface image (138) of tissue and an ultrasound device (104 and 106) configured to capture a sub-surface image (140) of tissue. An imaging processor (108) combines the surface image (138) and the sub-surface image (140) to generate a three-dimensional (3D) image (142) that is displayed to a clinician.
