PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical conversion treatment apparatus which decreases concentration of chemical conversion sludge and can maintain the concentration, and a method of separating chemical conversion sludge.SOLUTION: A chemical conversion treatment apparatus 100 includes: a chemical conversion treatment tank 1 which stores a zirconium chemical conversion treatment solution; a settling tank 3 which settles chemical conversion sludge contained in the zirconium chemical conversion treatment solution; and a circulation pump 2 which flows the zirconium chemical conversion treatment solution from the chemical conversion treatment tank 1 to the settling tank 3. The settling tank 3 removes the chemical conversion sludge from the zirconium chemical conversion treatment solution by settling the chemical conversion sludge contained in the zirconium chemical conversion treatment solution. |
