PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a name of model of each of original model and an OEM model to be displayed on a remote control even if the same main body control board is used.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a water heater including model name memory means 456 storing a model name of an original model corresponding to a set state of function setting means 454 acknowledging capability and function of the water heater. A remote control board 47 is provided with derivation information setting means 474 for setting derivation information indicating whether it is an original model or a derivation model. It is further provided with derivation model name conversion rule memory means 457 for converting the original model name to the derivation model name on the basis of the derivation information set by the derivation information setting means 474. When a request for display of a model name occurs, either original model name or derivation model name is displayed at a display part 41 on the basis of the set state of the function setting means 454, the model name information of the model name memory means 456, the derivation information set by the derivation information setting means 474 and the rule of the derivation model name conversion rule memory means 457. |
