CONTINUOUS EXTRUSION METHOD AND APPARATUS USING TWIN SCREW EXTRUDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously operate a twin screw extruder even during replacement of a filter by using a pair of filters.SOLUTION: A continuous extrusion apparatus using a twin screw extruder includes a pair of filters (6, 6a) which are provided in a degassing device (5), and a gate valve (24) which has a valve (34) for communicating or not communicating between each of the filters (6, 6a) and a screw hole (16) of a cylinder (1). When one filter (6) is replaced, degassing is performed using the other filter (6a). By such a manner, the twin screw extruder is continuously operated even during the replacement of the filter (6 or 6a).
